About TAFE SA

Awarded the Training Provider of the Year at the 2021, 2022 and 2024 SA Training Awards, TAFE SA ensures all South Australian students have access to quality education and skills training across a number of regional and metropolitan locations.

By working with TAFE SA, you’ll have the opportunity to advance your career in a diverse and inclusive organisation, while helping to deliver job-ready skills and meaningful outcomes for students across our state.

About the role

As a Senior Advisor, Organisational Development Systems (Educator Capability Reform) you will be responsible for leading the planning, delivery and evaluation of programs, projects and services that drive the design and implementation of a reformed, system-wide approach to educator capability across the organisation.

This includes establishing and embedding the new Organisational Development Systems (ODS) team model, engaging with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the 2025 ASQA Standards, and contributing to the cultural and structural change required for long-term success.

If you thrive in a collaborative environment where your insights will directly influence project outcomes, join us as a Senior Advisor and help shape initiatives across TAFE SA.

Key Functions

- Lead strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs and services to implement the ODS team model and drive cultural and structural change across TAFE SA.

- Oversee the detailed design and operational rollout of the reformed ODS team model, providing expert advice and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

- Manage transition planning and communication for the dissolution of the Centre for Educator Practice (CEP) and Organisational Development (OD) teams.

- Establish and lead the Workforce Learning, Enterprise, and Education functions within the ODS team, ensuring successful implementation of the new model by March 2026.

- Develop, implement, and evaluate engagement and communication plans using stakeholder feedback to support educator capability governance.

- Initiate and manage research projects, including risk identification and mitigation, and prepare briefings and reports on complex or sensitive issues.

- Create reporting and insight templates that go beyond compliance, capturing patterns, risks, and capability needs.

- Lead the planning, implementation, and review of the enhanced ODS design blueprint, including tools and processes to support co-leaders in embedding educator capability frameworks.

For more information about the role, please refer to the Role Description.
