Overview

As the Site Manager of our Roma West and Wallumbilla grain storage and distribution site, you'll supervise a small team of Grain Handlers and actively take part in day-to-day operations. You will also be:

- Working shoulder-to-shoulder with your team to ensure all commodities are received, stored and out loaded safely on time, within budget and to the required quality standard. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of leadership role.
- Coordinating day-to-day activities of the team; coach and support development of team members
- Getting to know, understand and apply our enterprise agreement and people processes
- Developing and maintaining close relationships with local growers, customers, and the local community
- Coordinating and preparing for area maintenance and pest control teams to deliver required services
- Identifying and reporting on maintenance requirements and maintain site presentation and standards
- Managing programmes and initiatives related to safety ('zero harm' culture) and risk management

Experience / Qualifications

- Experience supervising, supporting and developing workgroups / individuals
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demands
- Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Current unrestricted driver licence and basic IT literacy

Salary

Salary: up to $169K package (incl. Super, Remote + Labour Market Allowance, Bonus) + Vehicle
