Join Our Dynamic Team as a Senior Core Network Engineer
Are you an experienced Core Network Engineer with a passion for network design and implementation? We’re on the hunt for a talented professional to join our vibrant team in Abbotsford.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Core Engineer the responsibilities are dynamic and engaging, starting with the design, implementation, and support of cutting-edge LTE transmission networks.
You’ll work with advanced switches and routers like Cisco C9Ks, Cisco IR1Ks, and Nokia SAR, among others. Dive into MW solutions for both point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) from top vendors such as Cambium, Aviat, Nokia, Radwin, and Ceragon.
Craft detailed design documents for LTE transmission networks, including network diagrams and configurations, to support both customer-facing and internal needs. You’ll analyze transmission performance, troubleshoot network issues, and optimize network architecture to ensure peak efficiency.
Additionally, you’ll provide crucial technical support during both pre-sales and post-sales phases. Finally, you’ll configure SD-WAN solutions and/or IPSec for both cloud-based and on-premise environments, making this role both challenging and rewarding.
About you:
To be successful as the Senior Core Network Engineer, you will have proven experience (Minimum 3 years) in design and implementation of IP Networks including the following protocols and architectures:
- IP/MPLS and VRF Lite
- BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
- VLAN and RSTP
Demonstrable level of competence including: A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking
A practical level of experience implementing and administering common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
- Knowledge of LTE/5G networks architecture
- Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills
You will have completed a Bachelor’s Degree qualification majoring in Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science / Engineering or other related technical discipline
