About this Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Senior Facilities Manager, the Facilities Officer will support the facilities management function at RFDS SA/NT. The role will support and coordinate the day-to-day facilities management of all infrastructure including bases, clinics, accommodation, and vehicle fleet maintenance.
We believe our people – all of our people – keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying.
Specifically, you will:
- Support the Senior Facilities Manager to organise the day-to-day issues associated with RFDS SA/NT facilities, including coordination of repairs and maintenance to buildings, plant and equipment.
- Respond to urgent facility-related issues including assisting with requests for repairs, maintenance and faults to any items, equipment and amenities.
- Support the Senior Facilities Manager as required in the coordination of projects such as new sites and building works for existing sites.
About You
You are:
- An experienced facilities officer or project manager with strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Able to develop and implement maintenance and servicing schedules/systems.
- Experienced in contract management process and coordination.
To be considered for the role you require:
- Project Management experience and/or knowledge.
- Building Industry experience and/or knowledge.
