We’re hiring for a Communications Manager to deliver internal communications and contribute to external messaging. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders in the Retail, Brand & Marketing business unit to develop and implement communications plans that support strategic initiatives and drive engagement.

What you’ll deliver with us

- Help deliver on the Communications strategy and think about strategic initiatives that will improve communication for our team members

- Build trusted relationships with executive and senior level leaders across the business, prepare briefs, messaging and presentations as needed

- Work with Business Unit teams to develop a deep understanding of the particular interests, agendas, issues and opportunities to work collaboratively with Retail, Brand & Marketing

- Support key projects and initiatives by developing, implementing and advising on communications approaches to enhance team member and stakeholder engagement

- Work with Executive Managers and Executive Assistants to help deliver key events (e.g. Town Halls)

- Collaborate with the wider Communications team to ensure consistency of business messages and alignment with enterprise-wide programs

About You

You’re a seasoned communications professional with over six years’ experience in large, complex, and highly regulated organisations. You bring a strategic mindset and a proven ability to develop, execute, and evaluate impactful communication plans across diverse channels, including digital. Highly organised and efficient, you thrive in dynamic environments and have strong leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills. Your natural curiosity keeps you attuned to current affairs and community issues, and you understand the reputational impact of effective communication. Experience in retail or logistics, particularly within a franchise model, is a bonus.

- Expert skills in oral and written communications

- Resourcefulness and willing to find quick and efficient solutions

- Demonstrated presentation skills

- Strong understanding of best practice communication approaches and ability to implement
