Global Medics is currently recruiting for multiple Registrar (PGY4+) in General Medicine roles based in northern New South Wales.

The hospital is a medium‑sized regional hospital situated in a vibrant regional city in northern NSW, which offers a relaxed lifestyle surrounded by heritage architecture, vibrant arts, and natural beauty. It provides a wide range of healthcare services including Emergency Services, General Medical (including Palliative Care), Women's Care Unit, Intensive and Coronary Care Units, Paediatric and Renal Units, Surgical Services, Hospital in the Home (patients receive hospital‑level care at home), Specialist Services: Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Kidney Medicine, Maternity, Ophthalmology and Rehabilitation.

The Medical Registrar will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and overseeing patient care, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and complex medical problems.

Key duties include managing patient treatment plans, supervising junior medical staff, coordinating care with other medical specialties and contributing to medical education through teaching and training.

These are fixed term, full time positions for a duration of 12 – 18 months.

Requirements

- current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration through the Competent Authority Pathway.
