Salary: AUD 75,000 – 85,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

We are currently seeking multiple qualified and experienced Butchers to join our team at our Fyshwick operation.

Task & Responsibilities

- Cutting, trimming, boning, and preparing meat to specification.
- Breaking down carcasses and preparing retail and wholesale cuts.
- Monitoring quality and freshness of raw meat and finished products.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Operating and maintaining butchery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assisting with stock control, production scheduling, and meeting daily output targets.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to apprentices and junior staff where required.

Qualification & Experience

- A trade qualification in butchery or meat processing (Certificate III in Meat Processing – Butchery or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Butcher in a commercial environment.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service.
