Overview

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is proud to partner with a leading Australian contractor to source an experienced Superintendent / Foreman for a landmark modular construction project in Abuja, Nigeria. This is a unique international opportunity to oversee precast concrete and façade works, working alongside an Australian-led team and contributing to the development of local workforce capability on a high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee civil and structural activities including precast panel casting, installation, temporary propping, and façade finishes.
- Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, technical standards, and relevant Australian / ACI / ASTM / BS codes.
- Lead by example in safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Mentor and guide local teams to achieve high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Monitor progress, prepare reports, and liaise with Project and Construction Managers.
- Support construction sequencing, logistics, and short-term planning.

Our Ideal Candidate

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant Trade Qualification.
- 20+ years’ experience in civil or structural construction, with strong expertise in precast concrete and façade systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience on remote or international projects.
- Sound knowledge of Australian and/or international building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to coach and develop local teams while maintaining delivery outcomes.
- Experience on government, DFAT, or modular construction projects will be highly regarded.
