To find out more visit our website at **.****Duties include but are not limited to:*** Maintain a secure environment within the Magistrates Court.* Screen individuals entering the court building and ensure all security protocols are followed.* Monitor and manage courtroom security during hearings.* Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents involving disruptive or aggressive behaviour.* Work collaboratively with court staff and law enforcement to manage high-risk situations.**Ideal candidates will have:*** Previous experience in security or a related field (highly desirable).* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with the public and clients.* A readiness, confidence and assertiveness to manage challenging situations.* A strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality service.**Requirements:*** Full Australian working rights.* Valid Tasmanian Security licence.* Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.* Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).* Working With Vulnerable People (or willing to obtain).* Willing to undergo and pass a National Criminal History check.## **How to apply**MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.We are proud to:* be certified by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency,* be a partner and supporter of Veterans employment and honoured to have an endorsed INNOVATE Reconciliation Action Plan.
