The Role

As a Property Finance Advisor at Vie, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve their property goals, whether it's purchasing a first home, upgrading, building, refinancing, or expanding an investment portfolio.

This role is more than writing loans - it's about building strong, lasting relationships, providing strategic lending advice, and guiding clients seamlessly through the property finance process from first conversation to settlement and beyond.

You'll work closely with the Office Principal and have the opportunity to grow your professional expertise while contributing to the success of our Burnie and Devonport teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored property finance solutions.
  • Provide tailored lending strategies that support both immediate needs and long-term financial wellbeing.
  • Conduct client interviews, assess borrowing capacity, and submit high-quality loan applications.
  • Negotiate competitive interest rates and loan terms with lenders to secure optimal outcomes.
  • Manage the finance process end-to-end - from application through to settlement - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed at every stage and offering proactive guidance.
  • Build and nurture strong community and referral relationships to support business growth.
  • Assist with administrative and compliance requirements, ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking Management (minimum requirement).
  • 2+ years' experience in mortgage broking or banking (preferred).
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive, client-first approach aligned with Vie's values.
