Salary Range: $86,600-$124,725 per annum (plus super), dependent on experience

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Engagement Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This full‑time, fixed‑term position will commence on 19 January 2026 and conclude on 4 December 2026.

You will join a supportive team of committed teachers who work together in partnership with the parent community to create the best possible learning experience for every student. Your understanding of contemporary teaching practices, and your ability to adapt and support a diverse range of learners, will help every child feel included, valued and confident.

Responsibilities

- Focus on early intervention, pastoral care, attendance support and social‑emotional development.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, staff and families to implement evidence‑based practices such as PB4L, CPS and trauma‑informed approaches.

- Provide behavior support, pastoral care and build strong relationships with students and families.

- Promote Catholic values and contribute to a welcoming, supportive environment where every learner feels they belong.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in education.

- Registration or eligibility with the Queensland College of Teachers.

- Experience in behavior support, pastoral care and working with diverse learners.
