Overview

Initial 12 months contract. Must be Australian Citizen with NV1 Clearance. Location: Sydney & Canberra. Calleo is seeking multiple roles: Data Centre Engineer & Operations - Domain Specialist & Technical Expert for a Federal client. Data Centre Operations - Domain Specialist.

Responsibilities

- Maintain operational stability across data centre environments.
- Perform incident response, patching, and maintenance.
- Support major change implementations outside of business hours.
- Ensure compliance with security and operational procedures.

Data Centre Engineering - Domain Specialist

- Deliver domain-level engineering support across data centre environments.
- Conduct testing, validation, and lab work for infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and stable delivery.
- Support problem management, change management, and continuous improvement activities.

Data Centre Engineering - Technical Expert

- Assist in the delivery of day-to-day DC engineering tasks.
- Perform system monitoring, patching, and operational support.
- Work closely with senior engineers to resolve incidents and implement changes.
- Contribute to documentation and process improvement.

Experience & Qualifications

- Hands-on data centre operations/engineering experience.
- Proficiency with:
- VMware VCF, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, Tanzu
- Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Microsoft Server
- SCCM / MECM
- NetApp storage solutions
- Backup/archive technologies
- Load balancing technologies

Additional Requirements

Note that you must hold NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance.
