Our National Tax team is one of the largest and most successful and largest practices amongst Australian law firms and is led by industry experts, with extensive experience across the full spectrum of tax laws.

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join our highly regarded team in Brisbane. Working closely withthe national corporate / direct tax partners, you will work on a variety of matters including tax structuring, financing, tax due diligence, contract drafting and general income tax advice. Many of the matters involve corporate income tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions, divestments and capital reorganisations.

More About You

We welcome applications from Senior Associates who:

- have at least 5 years' experience post-admission and technical experience in tax
- have worked in a law firm, big 4 professional services firms, or government in a tax related field
- have strong plain English drafting skills and the ability to explain complex issues to clients clearly and concisely
- have unwavering attention to detail and technical excellence
- are client focused and committed to forming enduring relationships with clients and industry experts
- thrive in a highly collaborative environment; and
- take pride in their work and who they work for.
