Northcott is a registered NDIS provider of Allied health services. We have a team of allied health professionals who provide therapeutic supports in speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics, positive behaviour supports, orthotics and customer footwear, sexuality and relationship education as well as therapy training. Our therapists specialise in the disability sector, we work closely with our customers, their families and other health professionals.

At Northcott we provide supports allowing you to develop your clinical skills. The better the supports around you, the more confident you will be. We also offer formal regular clinical supervision, graduate coaching by our Clinical and Discipline Leads, and a range of opportunities to attend both internal and external professional development.

Join our multidisciplinary teams and be supported with our 12-week graduate program

Northcott’s New Graduate program prepares you to build your caseload and deliver therapy interventions. Each new graduate therapist will have access to:

- 12-week New Graduate training program, covering multidisciplinary and discipline-specific topics

- Opportunities to shadow experienced therapists

- New Graduate peer meetings – connect with current and former new graduates

- Weekly clinical supervision

- Reduced billable hours as you build your caseload and develop your clinical skills

Graduate Positions are available on a full-time permanent basis and will commence January 2025

Manage your caseload to provide timely and evidence-based intervention to people across the lifespan. From pre-schoolers, school-aged children, adolescents and young adults, to adults - where we have the capacity to support - with a range of conditions.

Provide intervention in a variety of locations; clinics, schools/preschools, in-home, group homes, via telehealth or at day programs. These may be delivered on an individual, group or consultative basis.

You will have opportunities to attend internal professional development and following probation have access to a generous external professional development budget relevant to your caseload and personal development goals so that you continue to expand your skills and learning. In addition to this you are given 10 days paid professional development per year.

You are allocated IT equipment such as an iPhone and laptop to help you work remotely.

You have access to the use of a pool of company cars or you can utilise your own, with km reimbursements.

Join a large multidisciplinary team of well over 100 therapists across NSW, QLD, & the ACT

We'd love for you to bring to Northcott:

- Genuine interest and commitment to the human services industry

- An understanding of NDIS (desirable)

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Ability to manage a caseload in an efficient and effective manner

- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy

- Registration with AHPRA

- Experience working with children, young people and adults with disability

- An understanding of assessments and interventions within the scope of your practice

- Current driver's licence and willingness to drive within the region

- WWCC (NSW & VIC) & NDIS worker check

- Current first aid and CPR certification
