The Benevolent Society is seeking a Partnerships Specialist to champion our national Disability Gateway program. This full-time contract position is based on Gadigal Country in Glebe until the 30th of June 2026, offering a salary range of $89k - $95.7k + Super + Salary Packaging.

About the Role

As our Partnerships Specialist, you will build strong relationships and drive awareness of our Disability Gateway program across the sector. Your work will involve developing key partnerships, establishing referral networks, and directly engaging with consumers to drive the expansion of our program nationally.

Duties

- Develop key partnerships with stakeholders, establish referral networks, and directly engage with consumers to drive the expansion of our Disability Gateway program nationally.
- Leverage your expertise to ensure seamless navigation of the Disability Gateway service, resulting in positive client outcomes while promoting our services and advocating for our organisation.
- Proactively create, distribute, and maintain informative content and information packs about our service, catering to consumers, referral agencies, and stakeholder panels.
- Strategically build and nurture connections to deepen your understanding of The Benevolent Society's services, operating environment, stakeholders, and partners, both internally and externally.
- Establish and foster relationships within various TBS locations and their communities, utilize diverse channels and community outreach activities to promote our services and make a meaningful impact.
- Preparing and delivering engaging presentations to large groups, stakeholders, or partner organisations - whether in person or virtually.

Skills and Experience

- A degree qualification in the aging or disability sector or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the community services sector, funding arrangements, and strategic partnerships that support business outcomes and growth opportunities.
- Exceptional influencing, collaboration, coaching, mentoring, and team leadership skills.
- Familiarity with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD, and LGBTI communities, and a knack for building strong relationships with various stakeholders.
- Regular, majority public-facing requirement
- Ability to drive and Driver’s License required
- Strong skills and experience with IT systems - networks and applications
