This roster is 8/6 days only 12-hour shifts

About the role

Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, you will form an integral part of the Facilities team by supporting qualified trades personnel and contributing to the upkeep of infrastructure across the Ernest Henry site, village, and town housing.

Key responsibilities

- Providing hands-on support to trades across mine site buildings (non-operational areas), village infrastructure, and town-based housing
- Carrying out minor building and renovation tasks
- Assisting with roofing repairs, patchwork, and concrete/paving work
- Performing general handyman tasks including repairs, maintenance, and installations
- Supporting gardening and external maintenance tasks
- Maintaining tools, machinery, and equipment in safe working condition
- Ensuring compliance with all workplace safety and operational procedures
- Working collaboratively with the facilities team to meet maintenance schedules
- Assisting with emergency response activities (manual driver/u2019s licence required)
- Supporting setup and teardown of temporary structures for village events or projects

About you

You will hold a current Queensland manual driver/'s licence and bring previous experience supporting multiple trades in remote or village-based environments. Additional tickets such as Forklift, EWP, Chainsaw, Confined Space, Tractor and Working at Heights are highly regarded. You/u2019re physically fit, safety-conscious, and take pride in your work. You should be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
