Council of the City of Sydney, Australia SEEK Volunteer Full time

The Western Sydney Local Health District is looking for friendly, community-minded people to join our volunteer teams at ### ****Auburn Hospital ****and ### Westmead Hospital.

Current Volunteer Roles

- Auburn Hospital Guides (Wayfinders): Welcome and assist patients and visitors to find their way around the hospital – 7 days a week.

- Auburn Hospital Fundraising Stall Volunteers: Help run fundraising stalls to support hospital initiatives – Monday to Friday.

- Auburn Hospital Justice of the Peace (JP) Volunteers: Assist patients, visitors, and staff with official document witnessing – Monday to Friday.

- Westmead Hospital Justice of the Peace (JP) Volunteers: Needed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

- Westmead Hospital Fundraising Stall Volunteers: Needed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

- Westmead Hospital Buggy Drivers: Transport patients and visitors across the hospital campus. Shifts 2:30pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday and relief for day shift volunteers for illness and holidays.

Requirements

- Minimum age: 18 years.

- Completion of Volunteer Orientation and relevant training.

- Compliance with NSW Health checks and immunisation requirements (some roles).

- For Buggy Drivers: Current driver’s licence and confidence driving a small electric vehicle.

- National Police Certificate.

- 100 point ID and police check completed at our expense.

Commitment

Regular - less than 6 months

Training

Full training, supportive trainers and training material

Time required

We offer flexible shifts that suit you between 8am and 5pm some 7 days a week.
