Mowing Operator

About the Role

As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities:

- Open space maintenance of council reserves across municipality of Knox
- Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed spraying
- Safely operating and maintaining machinery
- Ensuring all work is accurately recorded
- Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery

About You

- Must hold a Valid C Class Manual (C) Licence
- Ride on Mower experience of Council Controlled sites will be highly regarded
- Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
- Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment
- Knowledge or herbicide applications and techniques
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
