Overview

We are looking for Permanent Part Time In-Home Carers in the Albany & Mt Barker areas. Carealot is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to older adults, empowering them to live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes.

As an In-Home Carer you will provide compassionate care and support to clients, helping with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, while championing their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Champion clients’ independence and dignity, enabling them to live life to the fullest.
- Collaborate with a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients while upholding the highest standards of care.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Experience in aged care, community services, or disability services.
- Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Community Services.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current National Police Clearance and Working Rights in Australia.

Other requirements include a genuine desire to help others, reliability, and being a team player who can work collaboratively in a supportive environment.
