We are looking for an exceptional Psychologist to join our welcoming team in Brighton
The Opportunity
As a Psychologist at ESA, you'll play a crucial role in providing early intervention, assessment and therapy services to support children and families in maximising their independence and potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting diagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD and intellectual developmental disorders
- Providing evidence-based therapy interventions
- Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with clients and families
- Supporting developmental and clinical outcomes as well as meaningful participation in everyday life
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and ensuring ongoing communication and support
- Developing suitable and functional, routine-based goals with clients and families, within NDIS or Medicare framework
- Provide services to children and young people between 2 and 16 years in both in-clinic and community-based service provision
- Focusing on continuous improvement through regular evaluation and review

What You Need to Join
- Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current General Registration with AHPRA.
- Passion for Making a Difference: Have a passion for making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for families.
- Therapy Skills: Possess the ability to provide therapeutic interventions to children, young people and parents.
- Assessment Skills: Possess ability and experience to conduct cognitive and clinical assessments as well as diagnostic formulation and reporting.
- Experience: Experience in working with neurodevelopmental needs is desirable. Training and experience in administering the ADOS and MIGDAS is desirable.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with necessary checks and certifications, including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver’s License and Vehicle.
