Bread Social is currently seeking a motivated Baker Apprentice to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their craft and is looking to grow their skills in a supportive and professional environment.

What started as a passion for honest, handcrafted bread has grown into a respected name, with our loaves now a staple in cafés across Byron Bay, the Gold Coast, and Brisbane. This is your chance to work alongside supportive, hands-on Directors who live and breathe the craft — and to be part of something that truly celebrates local flavours.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Baker, you will play a key role in the preparation, baking, and presentation of a variety of breads, and baked goods. You will be trained in & responsible for maintaining Bread Social standards of quality, consistency, and enjoy working as part of a team.

- Flexible Scheduling, with shifts that vary in start times (630am, 6pm, and 200am).

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
- Solid understanding of cheffing / baking methods, and food safety
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A team-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail
