You will be joining a multinational insurance company as a legal counsel focusing on commercial law matters across the business within their established, high‑performing and fun legal team, based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice across commercial contracting, procurement, partnerships, and consumer law.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and provide tailored legal solutions.
- Monitor regulatory and legislative developments, advising on emerging risks and opportunities.
- Manage legal aspects of projects, including collaboration with external counsel and alternative legal service providers.
- Contribute to a high‑performing, collaborative team culture and continuous process improvement.
- Support governance and risk management frameworks to ensure compliance and effective decision‑making.
About You
You have:
- Minimum 3PQE with relevant legal qualifications and current practising certificate.
- Strong commercial law experience gained from either private practice and/or in‑house.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
