Tradesperson Mechanical

In your new role you will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting routine corrective maintenance and fault repair on locomotives
- Reporting on actual work performed against the scheduled work program
- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications
- Maintaining all records and associated documentation relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systems
- Progressing the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement
- Supporting other WA maintenance depots as per EA agreement
About you:
- Strong commitment to safety
- Mechanical Trade Certificate or formal equivalent
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Proven track of record of interpreting technical instructions and drawings
- High level of knowledge of functions, defects and fault finding with equipment
- Proficient in computer use.
- Substantial level of skill in the repair, maintenance and overhaul of locomotives, wagons, or Diesel engines although not essential, will be d be highly regarded
