About the role

We have anexciting opportunity for a Central Purchasing Supply Officer to join ourdynamic growing team.

If you havestrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities, then wewant to hear from you. You will be responsible for coordinating purchasingactivities for aviation materials, equipment and services, by collaboratingwith various departments and suppliers across the region to achieve complianceand operational excellence.

Reporting tothe Supply & Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in thesuccess of the supply team.

This position is ideal for someone with stronglogistics and purchasing experience, excellent attention to detail, and aproactive approach to problem-solving. You’ll be part of a collaborative teamthat keeps our operations running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities of the role include:

- Collaborate with other CPU teammembers to manage, process, and monitor repairable/rotable parts and components
- Maintain optimal stock levels by continuouslyreviewing and adjusting min/max thresholds in consultation with the Supply andPurchasing Manage or Director of Procurement & Contracts, APAC.
- Shared processing, administration, and monitoring of parts/componentwarranties with other CPU members
- Liaise and actionrequisitions from all Engineering and OperationalBases locations withinthe same day whenever possible
- Liaise directly with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and orders
- Monitor and report on expired parts across allEngineering and Operational Bases, with monthly reviews on the first workingday
- Conduct aeronautical acceptance and Inwards Goodsinspection, receipting, and dispatching of parts, forwarding, or filing of releaseand invoice documentation and recording inventory movements in and out of system as required for after-hoursreceipting and/or dispatch
- Address non-conformingproducts immediately in accordance with the Logistics Manual.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- Aviationexperience desirable, will consider experience in logistics and procurement
- An ability tointerpret technical data correctly and apply the information to satisfactorilycomplete purchasing and logistics tasks
- Knowledge ofaircraft manufacturers and product suppliers
- Relevantaircraft/product knowledge
- A soundunderstanding of conformity acceptance inspections and processes
- Experienceusing computerised inventory management systems
