Your Team
The Director - Data Platform Strategy, Operations & Innovation is part of CFS’s Technology, Transformation & Operation, which works closely across the whole of CFS to bring together the capabilities needed to deliver change that matters to our customers and to our people.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise data platform strategy aligned with business objectives ·
- Partner with technology, data, and business leaders to align platform capabilities
- Lead design of agile, scalable and secure data platform ·
- Facilitate cross-functional prioritisation workshops and establish a clear roadmap ·
- Act as a thought-leader on data and AI strategy and as the subject matter expert
- Manage access controls, service reliability, incident/problem resolution ·
- Manage platform performance, cost optimisation, and vendor relationships.
- Explore and embed AI/ML capabilities into platform services ·
- Drive development of AI solutions for complex use cases ·
- Involve in CFS-wide strategic AI initiatives ·
- Promote a culture of innovation, constantly seeking ways to enhance capabilities to support data science, machine learning, and AI use‑cases
Your Capability and Experience
- Strong experience in designing and building data platform ·
- Strong experience with Azure, Databricks and Fabric. ·
- A seasoned technical leader with experience managing large, cross‑functional teams and stakeholders ·
- A decision maker who shows ownership by making informed decisions, executing efficiently and taking responsibility for results. ·
- A change catalyst who embraces and navigates change with enthusiasm, looks for improvements and effectively supports team members to implement changes.
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or a related field
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and the deployment of AI models at scale
