As an Account Manager you will be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with our key clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and escalations, ensuring a seamless experience and driving client satisfaction and retention. Your role will also include finding new business, cross sell opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships. This is a hybrid role; you will be expected to work 3 days in the Chatswood office and will be required to work variable hours to meet the demands of the role and the requirements of the prospects.**Key accountabilities and responsibilities:*** Build trusted relationships, understand client needs, and act as a strategic advisor through regular reviews and insights.* Drive revenue by developing account plans, achieving sales targets, and identifying upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities.* Work with internal teams to ensure client success, coordinate smooth onboarding, and support marketing campaigns and events.* Monitor account health, mitigate risks, maintain accurate CRM records, and stay updated on industry trends to guide clients effectively.**Key performance indicators:*** Achievement of monthly/quarterly targets, upsell and cross-sell revenue, and pipeline growth.* Retention rate and contract renewal percentage as key measures of long-term success.* CSAT scores and client feedback to assess relationship quality.* Number of client meetings, responsiveness, and overall account engagement.**Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with proven success as an Account Manager or similar role in IT/SaaS, including managing mid-market accounts and longer sales cycles.* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, motivated, and resilient attitude.* Solid commercial acumen, understanding of SaaS metrics, CRM tools, and data-driven decision-making; industry knowledge (Hospitality, Manufacturing, NFP, Construction) is a plus.* Ability to build rapport with stakeholders up to C-suite level, handle multiple accounts with attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered business management software providers.
