About the role

Christadelphian Aged Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Carers to join our team in Kallangur, Queensland. These part-time roles are an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly residents while working for a respected healthcare provider. Available Night Shifts.

What you'll be doing

- Providing high-quality personal care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and meal assistance
- Monitoring and reporting on the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents
- Delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and respect
- Collaborating with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with policies and procedures
- Demonstrating a commitment to the Christadelphian Aged Care mission and values

What we're looking for

- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in providing personal care to elderly or vulnerable individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
- A caring, empathetic and patient-centred approach to care
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Evidence of Covid vaccination
- Right to Work in Australia essential
- Successful applicants must have a Police Check
