Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to operating standards and instructions, in line with health and safety practices and legislation.**Product Assembly / Responsibilities*** Review product manual and documentation, and become familiar with the assembly and manufacturing process* Use tools to shape and trim them down to appropriate size* Operate assembly machinery to assemble large products* Operate machinery to press, trim and shape material* Working in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation* Record and report details of defective goods* Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations**Key Position Criteria*** Manufacturing experience* Ability and willingness to follow direction as well as the ability to work independently.* Must be able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level and square, operate hand and power tools.* Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specification. **About You*** Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment* The ability to read technical drawings and plans* Strong focus in Work, Health and Safety* Excellent attention to detail and be able to follow tasks and directions* The ability to work as part of a team and be eager to learn* Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities**We are the ASSA ABLOY Group** Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
