Health and Security Assistant – Illawarra Hospital Group

Reference: REQ613076
Pay: $32.10 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging
Type: Various Casual, Permanent and Temporary Full Time and Part Time

Provide a clean, hygienic and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

- Undertake cleaning duties including rooms, equipment, utensils and fresh linen.

- Report any damage, defective items and observations about the patient environment.

- Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, pre‑operative shaves and report any concerns.

- Perform security duties directed by hospital management, ensuring a secure environment for staff, patients and visitors.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.

- Working With Children Check (WWCC).

- Hold a current Class 1A NSW Security Licence.

- Current First Aid Certificate.

- Current valid Class C Driver's Licence.

- Physical Screening Assessment required.
