YOUR ROLE

As an Operations Manager in our Contract Logistics division based at our Orchard Hills NSW facility, you’ll play a key leadership role overseeing warehouse operations that support one or more major customer accounts.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll lead an on-site operations team that may include multiple Operations Supervisors, Inventory Controllers, Operations Administrators and Storepersons. Together, you’ll ensure safe, efficient and high-quality logistics and supply chain services that meet customer expectations and CEVA’s operational standards.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

- Oversee daily warehouse operations to achieve safety, service, cost and productivity targets
- Lead, coach and develop your team, fostering engagement, accountability and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with CEVA’s safety, quality and operational standards through regular audits and reviews
- Deliver accurate inventory management, reporting and analysis to support operational decision-making
- Collaborate with the Site Manager and functional leads to optimise resource planning and workflow efficiency
- Maintain close communication with customers to ensure service levels are met and improvement opportunities identified
- Champion CEVA’s safety leadership principles and create an environment where everyone goes home safe.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You’re a confident and hands-on logistics professional with proven experience leading warehouse teams and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

- Experience managing 3PL contracts and leading teams across warehouse operations
- Comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and systems
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate others
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to interpret operational and financial metrics.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
