Warehouse Supervisor - Night Shift (V-36064)

Their key focus has been on their customers' requirements which has allowed them time and time again to grow in-line with customer needs and expectations.
THE ROLE
At the centre of operations, this warehouse is where the action happens guiding the team through a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Making sure everyone’s set up for a smooth week ahead, you’re roll up your sleeves alongside the team. Managing stock movements, checking orders, and keeping safety front of mind while motivating your people to stay on top of deadlines.
With your energy, leadership, and clear communication, you’re the go-to person on the floor. The team trusts your direction, and management the way you bring structure, efficiency, and positivity into the warehouse.
- Night Shift -11:45PM to 8AM
- Lead and coordinate dock staff to guarantee prompt and accurate loading of delivery trucks.
- Serve as the primary communication link between dispatch and dock operations.
- Review and validate all dispatch documentation (customer invoices, picking slips, OS & Subs).
- Ensure substitutions and out-of-stock items are properly managed and communicated.
- Supervise and allocate workloads and break schedules across the dock team.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety across the dock and warehouse environment throughout the shift.
- Carry out quality checks on bulk and customer picking lists before orders are dispatched.
- Precisely track crates, pallets, and run sheets for each delivery.
- Oversee safe and proper loading practices to prevent damage and misdeliveries.
- Train and mentor dock staff to ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety standards.
- Report stock variances, customer-specific requirements, and performance updates to management.
- Ensure all operations comply with HACCP guidelines and WHS policies.
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and a respectful working culture on the floor.
THE ESSENTIALS
- Previous experience in a warehouse or dispatch setting (essential).
- Proven leadership abilities with experience supervising a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across departments.
- Ideally aforklift licence.
- Physically fit with the stamina keeping the team moving with picks that meet truck pick up timeline
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to complete paperwork accurately and legibly.
- Solid understanding of safety procedures, stock rotation, and food handling standards.
- Full Australian work rights.
