About The Role

At Whitehaven Coal Tarrawonga Mine we support our people to grow, learn, develop their skills and reach their potential. As Maintenance Supervisor your main accountabilities will be to manage a team to safely deliver at their optimal performance.

What You’ll Do

- Ensure maintenance activities prioritise safety through effective hazard identification and risk management.

- Encourage proactive work to reduce need for potential high-risk tasks and focus on quality assurance to minimise exposure of maintenance personnel to hazardous tasks.

- Ensure work order feedback and closeouts are completed accurately to improve maintenance efficiencies.

- Provide technical support to contractors and warehouse personnel for procurement and management of parts.

What You’ll Bring

- Tertiary Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate

- Experience in the mining or heavy industry with strong working knowledge of Maintenance, Planning and CMMS

- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word.

- Live local to the area (Gunnedah, NSW) or willingness to relocate (temporary accommodation and relocation assistance provided)
