Knox Private Hospital is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team on our Delamere Ward. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their care.
Responsibilities
- The position is responsible for providing clinical leadership to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.
- You will provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
- As the Nurse Unit Manager you will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources

We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Qualifications
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children check
- Post graduate qualification in Critical Care
- Previous experience at ANUM or NUM level, or equivalent
- Compliance with ACSQHC National standards
- A strong commitment to developing in a management role
- Computer literacy including MS office and various data bases
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour management
- Demonstrated HR management experience

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses and Midwives Agreement 2021-2025
