Early Learning Educator

At Haileybury, we are leading the way in redefining education and are seeking an innovative and people focused professional to join the Early Learning team as a Causal, based in our Berwick campus.

The primary responsibility of an Educator is to work alongside and support the Lead Educators of the service. To facilitate a holiday program during term break periods. To always adhere to the Education and Care Services National Regulations under the Education and Care Services National Law.

Key responsibilities

- Being a passionate educator and striving to achieve our ELC goals (as outlined in our Policy Manual) and ensuring our philosophy is reflected in daily practice.

- Respecting and providing support and inclusion for all children, regardless of gender, cultural background or socio economic status

- Acting as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and language

- Providing adequate supervision for the children, and support colleagues in achieving the same (no staff member should be performing another task while supervising children)

- Assisting in the collection, recording and evaluation of children’s records and observations, as required by the Department of Education
