Role Overview

UMENCO is currently recruiting a Junior Talent Agent for a premier talent management agency, based in Sydney.

The Junior Talent Agent will play a pivotal role in supporting the Talent Management team by assisting in the growth and representation of models. With a focus on administrative support, scouting fresh talent and coordinating bookings, this position is perfect for a talent who thrives in a dynamic environment. The Junior Talent Agent will be involved in a range of tasks that help drive the careers of emerging talent, all while maintaining strong relationships with the key industry players.

Key responsibilities include managing model schedules, handling bookings and contributing to career development strategies. The Junior Talent Agent will also be tasked with identifying promising new talent, guiding them through the onboarding process and supporting their growth in the industry. Maintaining strong ties with clients such as brands, photographers, casting directors and agencies is essential, as is assisting in contract processing and day-to-day operational tasks. Additionally, staying informed about the latest industry trends and client preferences, as well as managing talent’s social media presence, will be a key part of the role.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in talent management, fashion or a related field. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, alongside a genuine passion for the fashion, commercial and entertainment industries. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms is a must, as well as familiarity with industry trends and key players. This role is perfect for someone looking to build a career in talent management while contributing to the success of both the models and the agency.
