Responsibilities

- Provide expert leadership and supervision to a team of skilled speech pathologists.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for individuals, with a focus on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and communication disorders, and tailor interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
- Engage in continuous professional development and mentor junior staff to enhance team capabilities.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Pathologist – Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and be registered with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). With a minimum of three years of experience in the field, particularly with expertise in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the successful applicant will provide high-quality support to individuals with permanent and significant disabilities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology.
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Minimum of three years of experience with NDIS expertise.
- Proven ability to provide support to individuals with permanent and significant disabilities.

Skills

- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Previous experience as a senior clinician.
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
