Signwriter

Overview

Full time, permanent day shift [0700 - 1530] opportunity based in Melbourne. Seize the opportunity to be at the forefront of creating, designing and manufacturing quality signage products for our aircraft, facilities and customers.

Responsibilities

- Create and apply internal and external aircraft markings for the Qantas Group and external customers.
- Produce a diverse range of projects including aircraft decals, signage, full aircraft liveries, and car wraps.
- Lead from design inception to installation, utilising cutting-edge technology to realise visions.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality workmanship and safe operations.

Qualifications

- Certificate III in Signwriting or equivalent Trade Certificate.
- Previous experience in signage, graphics, or a related field, with ability to work in industrial environments such as aviation or manufacturing.
- Relevant Aircraft Maintenance trade experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience or knowledge of Roland Printers is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat DC, and Microsoft programs is desirable.
- Customer-focused mindset with ability to manage and liaise with customers to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and foster collaboration.
- Strong adherence to high-quality documentation and reporting standards.
- Proven commitment to safety, adhering to safety and compliance procedures.
- Willingness to adapt working hours and travel as necessary to support customers.
- Demonstrated high ethical standards and self-discipline, upholding a professional work environment.
