- Full-Time | Monday – Friday - 6.00am –3.00pm - Temporary Contract – two year traineeship

- Level One | Salary: $37,345 - $64-505 dependent onage, plus superannuation

- A 9-day fortnight work pattern applies to thisrole

- Located at the City of Mandurah’s SouthernOperations Centre, Country Club Drive, Dawesville

The opportunity

Join our passionate team of conservationists and gain hands-onexperience maintaining and restoring precious bushland, estuary andcoastal habitats around the Mandurah area. This is your chance toget paid to work outdoors while achieving a nationally recognisedqualification in conservation and ecosystem management.

What we’re looking for

- Motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individuals

- Passion for the natural environment and conservation

- Willingness to learn hands-on while working outdoors

- Ability and desire to study and pass a nationallyrecognised qualification

To be successful in this role, you will need

- School leavers: OLNA or NAPLAN 9 Band 8

- Non-school leavers: C grades in Year 12 English andMaths or Certificate II in Conservation and LandManagement

- Demonstrated experience and/or interest in conservation,land management or bushland regeneration

- Ability to communicate effectively (both written andverbal)

- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team

- Proficiency using tablets, mobile devices, computers andrelevant software

- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual tasks inall weather conditions
