NES Fircroft are looking for Mechanical Fitters with fixed plant maintenance experience to work alongside our large mining client. We seek skilled candidates interested in a long-term role.

Roster: 2/2 (7 days, 7 nights, 14 off)

Hourly rate: $65 per hour + Super (on all hours)

Contract Length: 6 – 12 months initially, with potential for permanent placement based on performance.

About you:

- Fixed plant maintenance experience, ideally in Iron Ore, Gold, Lithium, Nickel, and other metals.
- Experience with all aspects of fixed plant maintenance, including screens, pumps, valves, conveyors, sizers, scrubbers, crushers, balance machines, and chutes.
- Welding experience is a plus but not essential.
- Australian recognised trade certificate.
- Valid C Class manual license.
- Strong employment history.

Your typical duties:

- Maintenance and repairs of large-scale mining equipment.
- Working with permit, lock-out, and isolation systems and procedures.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure plant reliability and availability.
- Maintaining high safety standards and continuous improvement practices.
