The Content and Campaign Coordinator - Keeping Cats Safe at Home will deliver the state-wide social marketing campaign encouraging cat caregivers to prevent their cats from roaming and to help their cats live their best lives while staying safe at home. The position will lead the development and implementation of engaging, on-brand campaign materials leveraging a digital omnichannel approach. Whilst working closely with internal teams to support the project efforts and drive a measurable impact.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Content Development and Design
- Design all organic social media content, animations, graphics, and campaign materials across digital and print for the Keeping Cats Safe at Home social marketing campaign.
- Ensure consistency with RSPCA NSW brand guidelines and campaign objectives and that all content is error-free
- Provide and maintain a campaign content and A/B testing calendar.
- Lead the creative and content for paid and organic social campaigns, out-of-home (OOH), and radio creative where relevant.
- Work with the Keeping Cats Safe at Home project team to finalise key messages and visual assets for the scale-up of the Not All Cat Videos Are Funny campaign.
- Support a value exchange campaign by designing compelling digital assets and downloadable content to drive newsletter sign-ups.
- Work under the creative guidance of the RSPCA NSW Creative Producer to ensure content is strategic, on-brand, and creatively engaging across all channels.
Campaign and Digital Marketing
- Finalise and implement the campaign plan, ensuring activity is on track with reporting schedules and KPIs.
- Deliver engaging and educational content that builds trust and empowers behaviour change.
- Manage campaign deployment across social media, web, email, including scheduling, boosting, and performance monitoring.
- Work with internal stakeholders to optimise website landing pages and resource hub to drive relevant traffic and improve user experience.
- Provide ongoing and periodical (eg: quarterly) reporting on all channels and output performance.
- Pivot based on reporting and derived insights.
Stakeholder and Project Support
- Liaise with the Keeping Cats Safe at Home project team to ensure all content and campaign activity aligns with community desexing efforts and partner messaging, and greater comms schedule.
- Collaborate with the project team to write SEO centric blog content that supports the campaign, highlights success stories, addresses FAQs, promotes safe-at-home lifestyle, and encourages behavioural change.
- Work closely with the media team to ensure alignment of messaging, media amplification opportunities, and consistency across public-facing communications.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role desirable.
Skills:
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of creative assets for digital and social campaigns.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Canva.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end content for behaviour change or cause-driven campaigns.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write blogs, campaign copy, and social media posts that align with tone, audience, and strategic goals.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager and other digital publishing or scheduling platforms.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
