Morse Micro is redefining wireless connectivity with next-generation Wi‑Fi HaLow (IEEE 802.11ah) technology. As Australia’s largest fabless semiconductor company, we’re building ultra‑efficient chips that power tomorrow’s IoT landscape through extended range, low power consumption and high performance. You’ll be part of a global team collaborating across Australia, the US, India, the UK, China, Taiwan, and Japan.

Role Overview

We’re now expanding into a greenfield product division to bring products on Morse Micro chipsets to industrial, developer, retail and online markets worldwide. We’re looking for a Product Operations & Supply Chain Manager to build the operational foundation for this new venture - bringing processes, tools, and best practice to take products from concept to end user.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll design and implement forecasting, S&OP, budgeting, warehousing, and logistics frameworks, working closely with Finance, R&D, Marketing, and Sales. You’ll partner with manufacturers and 3PLs, deploy scalable systems, and drive cross‑functional collaboration to ensure operational readiness.

We’re after someone who thrives in a startup‑style environment – pragmatic, commercial, and ready to build structure from the ground up.

Responsibilities Include

- Develop and lead end‑to‑end supply chain strategies covering procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.

- Implement S&OP processes that align production and inventory planning with commercial demand.

- Drive forecasting and budgeting accuracy through strong collaboration with Finance and Sales.

- Establish and manage relationships with manufacturing partners, 3PLs, and logistics providers to support global scale.

- Oversee warehousing operations, ensuring efficiency, traceability, and cost control.

- Implement and optimize supply chain systems and tools (ERP/MRP) for visibility and performance management.

- Lead risk assessment and mitigation across supply, demand, and logistics functions.

- Partner with R&D to ensure smooth NPI (New Product Introduction) and production readiness.

- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to plan product launches, ensuring alignment between demand generation and operational capacity.

- Continuously refine operational processes for scalability, resilience, and sustainability.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing management, preferably in consumer electronics, IoT, or hardware sectors.

- Proven experience scaling new product lines from development through commercialization.

- Deep knowledge of S&OP, forecasting, logistics, and warehouse operations.

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business goals into operational strategies.

- Experience with ERP or MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional communication skills.

- Hands‑on, pragmatic approach – equally comfortable building strategy and rolling up your sleeves.

- Prior experience in semiconductor‑based products, wireless technology, or IoT devices is highly desirable.

What we offer

- Competitive salary and stock option package

- Performance‑based bonus scheme

- Income protection insurance

- Supportive, high‑performance culture where your work truly matters

- Personal professional growth opportunities
