This is a Permanent Full-Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight.

Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, comprising two hospital campuses (Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital), as well as community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana.

Position Description

Position Title: Work Health & Safety Consultant

The Work Health & Safety Consultant leads and provides a comprehensive work health and safety service to Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG), ensuring adherence to applicable Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management Systems. The role develops, implements and evaluates workplace injury prevention programs and strategies with the objective of reducing incidents and injuries to staff, volunteers and clients, while fostering an organisation-wide safety culture.

Responsibilities

- Lead and provide WHS services to Rockingham Peel Group in accordance with OSH/WHS management systems.
- Develop, implement and evaluate injury prevention programs and strategies to reduce incidents and injuries.
- Foster an organisation-wide safety culture.
