Salary: Level 1, $1,126.20 - $1,145.80 per week (pro-rata) (GS (Misc.) GA 2023)

This is a three (3) month fixed term, part-time (0.5 FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2025 with possible six (6) month extension

North Mandurah Primary School (PS) is a dynamic and rapidly evolving school dedicated to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students. The school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and we have a firm belief in the unique value of each student.

As Cleaner, you will carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition to this, you would also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, cleaning of drinking troughs, removal of cobwebs, and other general cleaning duties as required by the Cleaner In Charge.

The successful applicant should have good communication and interpersonal skills. You should be a highly motivated and proactive person who takes pride in providing a high standard of cleanliness within the workplace to create a visually pleasing and safe learning environment for our students, staff, and visitors. The successful applicant will ideally be team-focused, able to follow instructions, and capable of working independently with initiative.
