Their multidisciplinary team is actively involved in enhancing whole of practice care through their Clinical Governance and Cultural Integrity Frameworks. With a strong team of General Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers and other health professionals, they’re well positioned to deliver comprehensive health services to the Aboriginal communities of Coffs Harbour, Urunga, Bellingen, Woolgoolga and other locations.
Key Benefits of The Role:
- A competitive salary base ranging from $261,000 to $309,000 based on your ACCHO experience
- 11% superannuation
- Additional 5 days sick leave per year
- Additional leave for NAIDOC and Christmas

About The Position:
Our client is now inviting applications for a General Practitioner role that will add value to their multidisciplinary team. This role will allow the practitioner to contribute to the health and wellbeing of their clients, with a special focus on comprehensive primary health care encompassing physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. This role provides an excellent opportunity for the practitioner to apply their skills and knowledge in a culturally immersive environment. Successful candidates will find this role both challenging and rewarding, with opportunities for continuous professional development.
Their GP’s are supported by a team of allied health professionals including Registered Nurses (3FTE – 4 people), 2 Social Workers, Psychologist, Pharmacist (no onsite dispensary but they do have medication store room), 12 Aboriginal health Workers in varied levels of training with 5 current registered Practitioners and the remaining completing their Cert IV Primary Health (Practice).

Key Requirements:
- A Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine or the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
- AHPRA Registered through the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with specialisation as a General Practitioner.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture and values
- Minimum 2 completed COVID vaccinations
- The ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
