Referees may be asked to comment on integrity and ethical behaviour. Responsibilities Position Profile: Leads the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist medical services to patients. Promotes patient safety and quality of care. Provides leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers. In collaboration with the Head of Department (HoD) Geriatric Medicine and other Consultants, works to achieve national, state and East Metropolitan Health Service performance standards and targets. Works within the scope of clinical practice as defined by the Area Medical Credentialing Committee. Area Profile: East Metropolitan Health Service provides a comprehensive range of public mental health services for ages 16 years and above, through community mental health services and hospitals.
