Retail Supervisor

As a Retail Supervisor at Ram Xpress Pty Ltd, you’ll oversee store operations to ensure our products meet customers' high standards. Key duties include managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, supporting the team, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Ensuring customers receive prompt and efficient assistance while providing high-quality products and services.
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints regarding products and services in a professional manner.
- Organizing and preparing staff schedules, assigning specific responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
- Recruiting, training, evaluating, and making decisions on staff promotions or terminations, while addressing employee concerns and grievances.
- Guiding staff on handling complex sales processes and providing training on customer interaction protocols.
- Reviewing returned merchandise and determining appropriate actions, including exchanges or refunds.
- Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records, placing orders to replenish merchandise as needed.
- Verifying that products are correctly priced, appropriately displayed, and align with marketing strategies.
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and enforcing security measures to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

- AQF Certificate II or III or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in retail or customer service, with supervisory experience preferred.

Requirements

- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Customer Service: Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and ability to handle queries and complaints professionally.
- Inventory Handling: Knowledge of stock control processes, ordering, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers.
- Time Management: Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Basic IT Skills: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software
