Responsibilities

What is expected of our Agents?

- Ability to understand the needs and financial concerns of clients
- Ability to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially, so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/ circumstances they may encounter
- Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals
- Cultivating relationships with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security
- Ability to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients. Providing compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances arise
- Having a clear focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of the community over time
- Ensure effective insurance, retirement, and business planning education through an array of service offerings including high-quality insurance, fixed annuities, long-term care insurance, securities, investments, and more
- Spotlight a multitude of potential solutions within our competitive suite of products and services while assisting clients in reaching their financial goals
- Create and implement business and marketing plans that will expand your client base
- Obtain optional licenses to sell investments and other securities products concerning wealth management and advanced planning
- Participate in and complete the New York Life training curriculum to build your professional skills and knowledge

Qualifications

We’ve built a strong company, one that puts its clients first. We have confidence in our products, but more importantly, we have confidence in our Agents to thoughtfully recommend and implement which financial vehicle is right for every client they support. Just as our Managers in the fieldwork provide one-on-one support and guidance to every Agent they hire.

- Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks and contacts
- Growth mindset and sales experience strongly preferred
- Must possess uncompromising integrity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively share complex ideas
- Savvy business sense required

Compensation

$60,000 - $100,000 yearly
