Our Toorak Campus (approximately 320 students) is located in Melbourne. It caters for day students from Early Learning to Year 6. After Year 6, most students proceed to Corio. The Toorak campus has approximately 50 full time and part time teaching and support staff. Join our learning community as a Drama Teacher, where creativity meets purpose. This position is offered on apermanent, part-time basis 0.4 FTE, commencing Term 1, 2026.
About the role:
Bring creativity to life by teaching Drama in a nurturing, inquiry-led environment. Inspire students from ELC to Year 6 through engaging lessons and collaborative curriculum planning that supports individual growth and learning progression.
- Use diverse teaching strategies to meet varied learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to design transdisciplinary Units of Inquiry
- Organise performances, excursions, and activities that enrich the Drama programme
- Communicate regularly with families and staff about student progress and key events
- Document student development in line with team practices
- Stay current through ongoing professional learning
About you:
To be successful in this role you will need to be:
- Registered as a Teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, which includes a National Police Check undertaken by VIT
- Experienced in teaching Drama within a Primary School
- Recognised to be at a proficient level in all of the AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
