Position Information
Narrabeen Sports High School is a comprehensive, inclusive, co-educational high school with 800 students (including 14 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students). As an Olympic Pathway Partner school, our Elective Sports Academy also draws talented student athletes from areas outside of the community catchment.
The school embeds strong academic and arts opportunities with a focus on positive school learning culture to empower students to achieve their personal best. Our new Performance Hall will be a state of the art facility to support student talent development. Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach: English - Years 7-12 and Drama
- Capacity to develop and deliver quality programs that differentiate the curriculum and challenge all learners.
- Capacity to work collaboratively to contribute to faculty and student growth.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
