Job Summary

We are looking for care workers who are caring, compassionate, respectful and who deliver high‑quality holistic care in Aged, Disability, Transitional and Palliative Care as well as Hospital in Home settings.

Location

This position is on a casual basis with work mainly in Penrith City and surrounding suburbs including Greater Western Sydney: Agnes Banks, Badgerys Creek, Berkshire Park, Caddens, Cambridge Gardens, Cambridge Park, Castlereagh, Claremont Meadows, Colyton, Emu Heights, Emu Plains, Erskine Park, Glenmore Park, Jamisontown, Jordan Springs, Kemps Creek, Kingswood, Leonay, Llandilo, Londonderry, Luddenham, Mount Vernon, Mulgoa, North St Marys, Orchard Hills, Oxley Park, Penrith, Regentville, South Penrith, St Clair, St Marys, Wallacia, Werrington, Werrington County and Werrington Downs.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide personal and domestic care

- A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people

- Excellent written and verbal skills

- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team

- High level of time management and organisational ability

- Willingness to participate in further education opportunities

- Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability Services

- Satisfactory Australian National Police check

- Current valid first aid and CPR certificate

- Australian Driver’s Licence & comprehensive insured car

- Available for an immediate start

Job Details

Job Types: Full‑time, Part‑time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $37.00 – $41.00 per hour (standard rate)

Schedule

- Day shift

- Monday to Friday

- Morning shift

- Public holidays

- Rotating roster

- Weekend availability

Application Requirements

- Valid Police Clearance and Working With Children clearance

- Ability to work in a community or home environment

- Available to work 5 weekdays during business hours

- Availability to start within a week of appointment

Education

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care Support or Disability

Experience

- Home care: 1 year (Required)

License / Certification

- First Aid and CPR (Required)

- Driver Licence & comprehensive car insurance (Required)
